Visit of students from Pécs
From 4 to 6 November, students from Pécs visited the Osijek Electrical and Traffic School (Baranya Vármegyei SZC Zipernowsky Károly Műszaki Technikum). The two schools have been successfully cooperating for many years, and this mobility is a continuation of the application of the results of the joint project Smart Home Models in VET.
The group from Pécs was hosted by ELPROS students and teachers. During their stay, the guests visited classes in several vocational subjects and participated in workshops. Teacher Mario Ognjenović prepared a workshop on electrical installations and practical connection exercises, as an introduction to working on a smart home model developed in the project with teacher Alen Hmelin.
During the classes and workshops, the students from Pécs got to know their hosts, ELPROS students, who will soon return the visit and participate in diverse and interesting activities in their school during a group mobility as part of the KA1 Erasmus+ project.
The last mobility activity was a workshop by 4th grade student Fran Božić, who introduced his colleagues to creating animations and 3D models in Blender.
In less than two weeks, a team of our electrical engineers, mechatronics technicians, and electronics technicians will visit a school in Pécs, where they will learn about the Hungarian smart home model and the numerous activities that the hosts are already diligently preparing for them.
